Advertising disclosure

How This Site Earns Money.

Display Advertising

TRT Foundation is funded by display advertising served through Google AdSense. Google's systems choose which ads appear, based in part on the page content and in part on your browsing history if you have allowed personalised ads. The editor does not pick advertisers, does not see which ads a given reader is shown, and cannot exclude a category of advertiser beyond the controls Google offers.

An advertisement on this site is not an endorsement. If an ad for a clinic, pharmacy, supplement or telehealth service appears next to an entry, that reflects Google's placement, not this site's judgement of the advertiser.

What Is Not Accepted

  • Paid placement, sponsored entries or "advertorial" content in the text of the site.
  • Payment from any clinic, pharmacy, drug company, supplement brand or telehealth service for coverage, reviews or rankings.
  • Pre-publication review of any entry by any commercial party.

Affiliate Links

This site does not currently use affiliate links. If that changes, any affiliate link will be labelled as such where it appears, this page will be updated to say which programs are used, and the editorial policy's rule against product endorsement will still apply: an affiliate relationship would never be a reason to recommend something.

Separation

Ads are visually separated from entries and carry an "Advertisement" label. No ad is placed inside a tool's input area. Advertising revenue does not influence which topics are covered, how an entry is written or when it is updated.
